What is ELTEX 2010 ?

 

ELTEX is an established event organized annually by the British Council & UK Trade and Investment, in partnership with WAHAexpo Co., Libya and AME Trade Ltd, UK.

 

ELTEX will focus on British – Libyan cooperation in the fields of: education, vocational and English language training with the aims of:

 

• Sharing the knowledge and skills of British and Libyan teaching professionals and training managers.
• Explaining opportunities for Libyan students interested in learning English or studying in the UK.
• Providing British tailor made solutions to assist Libyan organizations to train their workforce and reinforce Libyan local content goals.
• Strengthening cultural links between the United Kingdom and Libya, to learn from each other’s traditions and beliefs.

 

A turnkey event for education and training professionals featuring:

 

• An exhibition showcasing a cross section of Britain’s finest education & training institutions, publishers, universities, English language schools and teaching material suppliers.

 

• An interactive conference presenting seminars and workshops, covering different aspects of English language, educational and vocational training. Presentations will be made by both Libyan and British interlocutors, in order to share and learn from each others experiences.

 

• A packed visit program, allowing participants to find out more about Libyan education and business organizations, as well as social events designed to facilitate interaction in an informal atmosphere.

The ELTEX exhibition and conference will take place at Al Fatah University on 16- 18 Mar. 2010 and Gar Younis University on 19 Mar. 2010, at the heart of Tripoli’s business community and in easy reach of all hotels and amenities
